In Person Services and Live Stream
Join us this Sunday, September 19, 2021 as Lead pastor Conrad Esh begins a new series, Kingdom Hospitality with the sermon Extending the Welcome of the Kingdom. There will be a time of worship, a message, communion, and we’ll provide an opportunity to give and receive prayer. Even now, pray that God would move powerfully as we gather as a church!
Our Kingdom Kids Ministry is available during our 10:45 AM service. We currently have a class for ages 3-6, and another class for ages 7 – 6th grade. Please sign your child in at the beginning of service. Children will worship in the sanctuary and then they will go downstairs to the Lower Level classrooms when dismissed. Also, keep the following in mind: Beginning in September, we hope to have a middle school class (5th – 8th grade), and a high school class (9th – 12th grade). Please sign in your child at the Kingdom Kids Check-In Area at the beginning of service. Children will worship in the sanctuary and then head downstairs to the Lower Level classrooms upon dismissal. If you have any questions, please contact Brittney Planck.
Our YouTube Live Stream is at 9:00 AM. The YouTube live stream for this week’s service can be viewed at https://youtu.be/ySpt7an6ulM
We are in need of more people who would be willing to be trained for our Streaming Team. Please let us know if you’re interested in helping us in this vital ministry moving forward.
Sunday Services: Couple additional things to keep in mind:
- Coffee is served on Sunday mornings.
- Masks are no longer required.
- Announcements are available online (right here) and in our morning slideshow.
- The nursery, while not staffed, is open for use.
MARMON VALLEY HAYRIDE & BONFIRE
When? Saturday evening, October 30th, 5:00 – 9:00 AM
Where? Marmon Valley Farm, 7754 OH-292 S, Zanesfield, OH 43360
What will we do? We’ll have a meal together (beginning at 5:30pm), enjoy a hayride (beginning at 7:00pm), and then roast marshmallows and hang out around the bonfire. There are also swings and playground equipment for the kids!
What to bring? Bring a side dish to share. The church will provide pulled pork and drinks. Bring $5 per person for the hayride! It’s going to be fun!
What about horseback riding? For those who want to go horseback riding, you will need to schedule that with Marmon Valley directly and there is a cost ($34/person for the trail rides; $7/child for pony rides in the arena). Horseback riding needs to be scheduled in advance and will likely be from 4:00 – 5:00pm that Saturday.
Join us for Coffee and Connections on the first Sunday of every month following second service. Coffee and Connections is our newcomer meeting where you will get the opportunity to meet church leaders and pastors, learn about our values, vision, and history, and ask any questions that you may have. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact Denise Mast at 574 / 538-9058.
Do you need individual prayer? Do you need prayer for something that you would rather not put on the prayer chain? Do you have any other prayer concerns? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will get back with you as soon as possible.
Download the Church Center app in you Apple or Android store to have access to the new church directory. Watch your email for instructions on accessing the directory, or download them below.
Hospitality Volunteers will greet people as they enter the church with a friendly wave or smile (no contact), will encourage people to maintain social distances, will direct people to the hand sanitizer and mask station, will help usher people into and out of the sanctuary while helping families maintain social distance, and will help maintain a clear, non-crowded foyer. There is no coffee service at this time.
Cleaning Volunteers will use CDC approved cleaners to wipe down high touch surfaces between church services. High touch surfaces include counters, faucet handles, door pulls and handles, door push plates, toilet handles, and nursery surfaces. You will be provided with masks and gloves. Those who have filled this position report that this is goes very quickly and is easy to do with a few volunteers.
To help in either of these positions, please contact Mandy Reymann at (614) 395-4496.
The Sound and Media Teams also need volunteers! If you have Sound or Media experience, are good with computers (Media) or have a musical ear (Sound) and would like to join the Sound/Media Team, please contact Conrad Esh or Vicki Esh.
