VINEYARD MARYSVILLE DIGITAL BULLETIN for August 1, 2021
In Person Services and Live Stream
Join us this Sunday, August 1, 2021, as lead pastor Conrad Esh continues the series Soul Care Summer with the fourth sermon, Confession. There will be a time of worship, a message, and we’ll provide an opportunity to give and receive prayer. Even now, pray that God would move powerfully as we gather as a church!
Our Kingdom Kids Ministry is available during our 10:45 AM service. We currently have a class for ages 3-6, and another class for ages 7 – 6th grade. Please sign your child in at the beginning of service. Children will worship in the sanctuary and then they will go downstairs to the Lower Level classrooms when dismissed. Also, keep the following in mind: Beginning in September, we hope to have a middle school class (5th – 8th grade), and a high school class (9th – 12th grade). Please sign in your child at the Kingdom Kids Check-In Area at the beginning of service. Children will worship in the sanctuary and then head downstairs to the Lower Level classrooms upon dismissal. If you have any questions, please contact Brittney Planck.
We are in need of more people who would be willing to be trained for our Streaming Team. Please let us know if you’re interested in helping us in this vital ministry moving forward.
Sunday Services: Couple additional things to keep in mind:
- Coffee is served on Sunday mornings.
- Masks are no longer required.
- Announcements are available online (right here) and in our morning slideshow.
- The nursery, while not staffed, is open for use.
Join us for Coffee and Connections today, following second service. Coffee and Connections is our newcomer meeting where you will get the opportunity to meet church leaders and pastors, learn about our values, vision, and history, and ask any questions that you may have. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact Denise Mast at 574 / 538-9058.
Mark your calendars for our Vineyard Outdoor Service (and more!) on Sunday, August 22nd. It will be so much fun to be together!
Here are additional details to our time together:
- When? Sunday, Aug 22nd, 11am – 3pm.
- What will we do? Enjoy an outdoor service with water baptisms by the lake. which begins at 11. We’ll then have a meal, games and nature walks in this beautiful setting! We hope you can come and absolutely invite friends and family to join you!
- What to bring? Bring a side dish to share. The church will provide pulled pork and drinks.
- There will be no worship services at our Vineyard Marysville facility that morning. The only worship service will be the 11am service at the Romans 1:20 Retreat Center! It’s such a beautiful outdoor location! 1041 County Road 142 N, West Mansfield, Ohio.
Other questions? Email or text Anita Hostetler directly with your questions. Also, let us know if you’d like to get water baptized; Pastor Conrad would love to talk to you about this. That’s all for now. Much peace to you in Jesus!
There is still time to learn about the School of Kingdom Ministry! Our next informational meeting will be Wednesday, August 11 at 6:30 PM.
SoKM is a fantastic opportunity for believers to learn about their identity and authority in Christ, how to live a naturally supernatural lifestyle and how to incorporate the ministry of the Spirit into everyday living. This training is something that every believer in Christ should have; it’s basic training for life in the Kingdom of God!
SoKM was birthed at Vineyard Church of Central Illinois (Urbana) in 2011 out of a desire to see churches functioning more and more in the gifts of the Spirit and releasing the Kingdom of God in supernatural ways. In just 10 years, the Holy Spirit has expanded this school to more than 165 SoKM sites around the world!
Meal Ministry is starting back up again! If you have been part of the ministry in the past, look for an email from Debbie Case re: opportunities to serve. If you are interested in providing meals to those who could use one, contact Debbie at 614 / 707-7301.
Do you need individual prayer? Do you need prayer for something that you would rather not put on the prayer chain? Do you have any other prayer concerns? Email us at email@example.com and someone will get back with you as soon as possible.
Download the Church Center app in you Apple or Android store to have access to the new church directory. Watch your email for instructions on accessing the directory, or download them below.
Hospitality Volunteers will greet people as they enter the church with a friendly wave or smile (no contact), will encourage people to maintain social distances, will direct people to the hand sanitizer and mask station, will help usher people into and out of the sanctuary while helping families maintain social distance, and will help maintain a clear, non-crowded foyer. There is no coffee service at this time.
Cleaning Volunteers will use CDC approved cleaners to wipe down high touch surfaces between church services. High touch surfaces include counters, faucet handles, door pulls and handles, door push plates, toilet handles, and nursery surfaces. You will be provided with masks and gloves. Those who have filled this position report that this is goes very quickly and is easy to do with a few volunteers.
To help in either of these positions, please contact Mandy Reymann at (614) 395-4496.
The Sound and Media Teams also need volunteers! If you have Sound or Media experience, are good with computers (Media) or have a musical ear (Sound) and would like to join the Sound/Media Team, please contact Conrad Esh or Vicki Esh.
