Facilities Ministry
Facilities Manager – Jason Miller
The Facilities Ministry is focused on maintaining and improving the usability and safety of the facilities and grounds that we have been blessed with. Our primary focus this last year has been replacing and upgrading the lighting in the lobby and the sanctuary. While we are still making adjustments and finishing touches, the main project is complete.
There are periodic opportunities to assist with facilities projects and upkeep. Examples are lawn mowing, clearing snow off the sidewalks, and helping with projects, as several people did on the lighting project. Even if you don’t have a lot of building skills, sometimes a willing and available hand is all that is needed.
First Impression Ministry
Team Leader – Susan Kaiser
It is important to us that those who come to attend church service, feel welcomed, recognized, informed, and most of all feel the presence and love of Jesus. We have a team specifically trained to greet our members and visitors, making them feel at home.
Ways to get involved:
- Join the Connections Ministry as a greeter.
Hospitality Ministry
Coffee Team Lead – Lisa Wall
Our hospitality teams create welcoming and inviting experiences whether on a regular Sunday morning at a special event or during an important time in our spiritual journey. Hospitality has at its foundation a love of serving others. Working behind the scenes can be very fulfilling by creating positive encounters with God’s church community and ultimately Christ’s life changing love.
Ways to get involved:
- Coffee Team – Help serve coffee on Sunday morning at both services.
- Special Events Team – Help with organizing and serving food during larger church events.
If you feel called to serve in worship—whether through music or on the tech team—we’d love to hear from you. We’re always looking for people who want to use their gifts to help lead our church in Spirit-led worship.
Liturgical Ministry
Team Leader – Mandy Reymann
The liturgical ministry focuses on preparing for special times of the year like Advent and Lent to bring awareness and provide opportunities to grow in the knowledge of Christ and encounter him as we celebrate his birth, death, and resurrection in new and impactful ways.
Ways to get involved:
- Help with decorating the sanctuary and preparing for special services like Christmas and Easter.
- Take part in planning the service itself during the message, ministry time, and music for services such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.
Prayer Ministry
Team Leader – Pastor Freddy Chacko
The Prayer Team strengthens the culture of prayer in our church family in three ways: (1) interceding for others, (2) disciplining others in prayer ministry, and (3) raising awareness for various local, regional, and global prayer needs. Our mission to partner with Jesus is two-fold: To share the love of the Father by interceding for healing, deliverance, and wholeness for all who are weary, and to intercede for the will of the Father to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Vineyard Church of Marysville is a church that values cultivating intimacy with God through communing with Him in prayer. We take our example from Jesus, who is ever interceding on our behalf before the Father. We believe that the prayers of the righteous are effective and that the Creator of the Universe moves at the sound of our voice.
Ways to get involved:
NOTE: Training is available for several of the opportunities below.

- Healing Room ministry
- Individual prayer appointments for Inner Healing
Safety & Security Ministry
Safety Lead – Jim Wachs
Do you want to see our church prepared and safe? Then the safety ministry is for you. We need volunteers to rebuild our ministry after Covid. If you are the type of person who thinks “What if this happens?”, then we need your help. We can also train you if you just have a desire to contribute to the safety of our church. We try to be prepared for all types of emergencies and situations. You may think that you don’t have the skills to help, but you almost certainly have something to offer. I would love to discuss it further with you and share how you can be an important part of the critical team.
